Patrick Hellier

ATTORNEY

Patrick Hellier is an attorney and has worked at ZLG since October of 2019. Patrick speaks English and Spanish.

Patrick earned his bachelor degrees in Political Science and Spanish Studies at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. The combination of learning about Hispanic/Latino cultures and their political representation in the United States drove Patrick to pursue a career as an immigration lawyer. He has studied abroad in both Spain and Argentina. Patrick graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law with his Juris Doctorate in May of 2020.

Patrick plans to further specialize in immigration law, criminal law, and the intersection of the two. His favorite case types are cancellation of removal, U-visa, and naturalization. Patrick finds fulfilment in working towards keeping families together and making sure that immigrants fully understand their rights in both immigration and criminal courtrooms.

When he is away from the office, Patrick coaches hockey at Minnehaha Academy High School, and loves to go on hikes and play golf in the summer.
