The Case Manager assists the attorney in a variety of ways and has extensive contact with clients. His or her work product will be developed through data entry, client interviewing, and writing. Zimmer Law Group, an immigration law firm located in St. Paul, Minnesota, seeks a full-time, Spanish speaking Senior Case Manager to handle a wide variety of immigration cases.
Job Duties: The Senior Case Manager assists the attorney in a variety of ways and has extensive contact with clients. His or her work product will be developed through data entry, client interviewing, and writing. Qualified candidates must be able to manage many cases of different types with professionalism, compassion, and organization. Additionally, he or she will supervise a number of the firm’s case managers by regularly monitoring their workload, reviewing their work product, and reporting their case statuses to the firm’s attorneys on a biweekly basis.
Minimum Requirements: Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish at a professional level; Ability to write in English with proper grammar and punctuation; Experience with immigration law-based case management software; Understanding of basic immigration law concepts and processes; Associate’s degree or higher in legal studies or similar field, or equivalent experience; and, Three or more months of experience in a legal or nonprofit setting in client counseling or case management working with immigrants, children, foreign students, or survivors of trauma.
