Lucy Lezama Espinoza
Case Manager
Lucy Lezama Espinoza is the firm’s case manager intern and has worked at ZLG since May of 2023. She speaks English and Spanish.
Lucy is currently pursuing her BA in English and American Culture and Difference with a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of St. Thomas. She is passionate about educating others and spreading awareness of the obstacles that people of color and underprivileged communities face and aspires to become an immigration lawyer. Throughout her undergraduate experience, Lucy has taken on a variety of leadership roles such as that of being the president of the Latinx/Hispanic organization, working as an intern at the student diversity and inclusion services on campus, and mentoring. Lucy identifies as a first generation American and was somewhat familiar with the immigration process as her parents are in the process of obtaining their U-visas. Lucy aspires to grant others the ability to accomplish their American dream which is what drives her passion for working in immigration law. Her favorite kind of cases are SJIS, cancellation of removal and work permits. Outside of work, Lucy enjoys watching horror movies, learning about true crime and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
